How can we visualize not only data, but also the perspectives, power relations, and possibilities embedded within them?
From 9–11 December 2026, the Center for Critical Computational Studies (C3S) at Goethe University Frankfurt brings together emerging scholars, practitioners, and international experts to explore visualizing data as critical practice.
Through hands-on workshops, dialogue, and collaborative experimentation, participants will explore data justice, algorithmic bias, digital surveillance, and critical, artistic, and speculative approaches to visualization.
